I greatly look forward to the Hamelin set, and
Scherbakov's future endeavor as well. However, I
did know it was part of Mr. Manildi's responsibility to offer criticism as well as
information on recordings. I question anyone
who would go out of their way to condemn the
work of a particular artist, or question the
merits of their work. But I am forgetting also
that it was Mr. Manildi's organization which gave
us the "questionable" legacy of Ervin Nyreghazi,
a David Helfgott for the late 1970's.
